Email client compatibility
There are countless email clients being used around the world, whether that is desktop email clients like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, or webmail services like Gmail, Yahoo, or Fastmail. While we have invested in making our email templates compatible with most email clients, aiming for 100% compatibility would be preventing us from innovating on the overall product experience.
For this reason, when copying content from Hotel Quote to paste into your email client, we recommend using Google Chrome, whether you are on a Mac, Windows or mobile.
Known issues:
- Desktop applications like Microsoft Outlook most of the time will work fine. However, depending on the version and settings, you may experience rendering issues. While we will be happy to hear when this happens, it is likely we will not prioritise fixing these issues over the web experience.
- Safari on Mac currently prevents the copying of content. We are aware of this limitation and are planning to look for a solution in the future.
